  1. Thank you for all the valuable information you provided during the Podcast. I would like to know should advanced cancer be treated by Graviola alone or combined with other herbs.
    Kind Regards

    1. You're welcome! My personal experience with advanced cancers is that "more is better" which is why I created the N-Tense formula. It is 50% graviola with 7 other rainforest plants that have anticancer actions that work in ways graviola does not.

While graviola is very good on some types of cancer, other plants in the formula work better on other types of cancer that graviola is less effective for. I usually relied on the N-Tense formula for advanced cancer unless it was an estrogen-sensitive type of cancer. Two of the ingredients in N-Tense may have estrogenic actions based on animal research. For estrogen-positive cancers, I always just used graviola. You can find more information on the N-Tense formula on the Rain-Tree website and how to make yourself at http://www.rain-tree.com/n-tense-capsules.htm The formula has also been copied by a couple of other companies who now sell it. Personally, I purchase N-Tense when I need it from Rainforest Pharmacy.

      Best wishes,
      Leslie

  2. Hi Leslie, my name is Lisa Masella. I’m currently fighting stage 4 breast cancer. I don’t want to do chemo. Is it possible to talk with you about what rainforest herbs could help me?

    1. Hi Lisa,
I'm sorry but I retired from my naturopathic practice and no longer consult with clients. Stage 4 breast cancer is serious and you need serious help. Find a good alternative or integrative health practitioner who can see you as a patient and give you competent help and assistance. You and your practitioner should review the information on graviola in the plant database at https://rain-tree.com/graviola.htm which is a good place to start. But there are also many other things that might be beneficial or might be contraindicated based on the specific type of breast cancer you have. Don't go this alone - get some help!

      Best wishes,
      Leslie

    1. Hi Ck,
Sorry, I haven't seen anything in either traditional uses or research on any rain forest plant suitable for pancreatic insufficiency. The best I know of are the standard digestive enzyme formulas available to supplement the 3 main digestive enzymes the pancreas normally produces.

      Best wishes,
      Leslie

  4. Hi Leslie,

What are your thoughts on fillers mixed in capsules? I read your website and am trying Calaguala and your Myco formula for systemic lupus. I found a nice company that makes your formulas but they include fillers in the capsules like magnesium stearate and rice powder. Do you think this lessens the effectiveness of the herbs?

    1. Sometimes these additives are necessary to encapsulate herbs. The most natural are magnesium and rice powder and they won't interfere with the effectiveness of the herbs. If you're really that concerned, you could go to the rain-tree website and see how to make the formula yourself with bulk herbs. Then prepare your own capsules or use it to prepare a tea.

    2. Thank you very much, Leslie! As far as the Calaguala/Samambaia goes I am going to purchase the bulk powder and make tea out of it. I found Polypodium decumanum and Polypodium Leucotomos. Is there more benefit to mixing the two species and taking both or is it not necessary? Everything I find on them looks as if they pretty much do the same thing and are interchangeable. I am unsure.

    3. You are most welcome. And yes, samambaia and calaguala (P. leucotomos) are used interchangeably. You really only need one or the other.

    1. Boa tarde,

      Muitas felicidades,
      Leslie
