  3. My Name is Kay Jackson and I do not have a google account or URL I don't know how else to contact you. I purchased your ebook, and was under the impression you could download it to any device which for me is a PC and have not been able to do so. I do not have a Kindle. I did sign-up for e-mails

    1. Hi Kay,
My ebooks, like most others, are offered exclusively through Kindle. Not sure where you bought the ebook, but most companies retailing kindle ebooks, provide a free kindle reader for you to use. Amazon.com has a free kindle reader you can read the book on from your pc, laptop or phone. Ebooks aren't sold as pdf or word files that you can actually download to a computer. This protects the book's copyright and prevents them from being shared, distributed for free, or uploaded to websites for free reading. Sorry, that's the way it works in the publishing industry today.

      Best wishes,
      Leslie

    2. Thank you for your response, I did buy it on Amazon, but when I read Kindle or any device...I thought I would be able to download. I did try a link for computers on Amazon, but I either did not understand how it works and even though it said Windows 10 it only had info on windows 8. I understand you wanting to protect your books and will probably just buy printed copies in the future.

    3. So try this... first download the free Kindle App for PCs from Amazon.com. Then follow the instructions in this article (the second section on PCs) and this should download to book to your PC. The article has the link to follow to download the free Kindle App from Amazon... see: https://ebookfriendly.com/back-up-kindle-books-2-ways/
